Getting Started

What is LIFE1?
LIFE1 is a Health OS for iPhone and Apple Watch. You pick a protocol, Lean, Lift or Longevity, and LIFE1 turns it into a daily plan: one Health Score, training programs with HD video coaching, camera food logging, a fasting window, preventive care and an Apple Watch companion. It is available in English, French (Canada) and Spanish.
How do I get started?
LIFE1 is in App Store review and launches soon. Once it is live, download it from the App Store and sign in or tap "Try without an account". Onboarding takes about two minutes: choose your protocol, set a goal, connect Apple Health, and your first Smart Day is ready.
Which protocol should I choose?
Lean is for losing fat and keeping muscle: a target weight, a real date, an 18-hour fasting window and Pilates or HIIT sessions. Lift is for building strength: four training days a week with the Lift program and higher protein targets. Longevity is for aging well: Longevity Flow sessions, recovery tracking and preventive screenings. You can switch protocols any time in Profile.
Is LIFE1 available on Android or iPad?
Not yet. LIFE1 1.0 is for iPhone (iOS 17 or later) with an optional Apple Watch app.

Features

What is the Health Score?
A single daily number built from what you actually measured: sleep, HRV and resting heart rate from Apple Health, your logged meals, workouts, hydration and streak. If a value was not measured, LIFE1 shows an empty state rather than a guess.
How does food scanning work?
Point the camera at a plate, a barcode or a nutrition label. LIFE1 returns an estimate with calories and macros that you can correct before logging. You can also type a food or say it out loud. Every meal receives a Food Score against your protocol targets.
What training programs are included?
Pilates Burn (4 sessions a week, 28 classes), HIIT Fat Burn (3 a week, 24 classes), Lift (4 a week, 32 classes) and Longevity Flow (5 a week, 40 classes), plus custom workouts. Sessions play as real video with 1,289 coached exercises. GPS activities cover running, walking, hiking and cycling.
How does fasting work?
Your protocol sets an eating window. LIFE1 anchors the fast to your last logged meal and shows a live ring with the time until you eat again, on iPhone and on Apple Watch, where a single tap logs "I ate".
What is in Progress?
Your protocol day (for example day 43 of 90), workouts committed versus logged each week, weigh-ins done, milestones reached and your weight trend. It reports what happened. It does not predict or grade.
Does LIFE1 track medications?
You can keep a list of your medications in Care so it appears on your Emergency Medical ID. LIFE1 does not send medication reminders and does not check drug interactions. Ask your pharmacist or physician about interactions.
Does LIFE1 give medical advice?
No. LIFE1 does not diagnose, treat or prescribe. Scores and insights are educational estimates, and every insight carries that disclaimer. Consult your healthcare provider for medical decisions.

Pricing

How much does LIFE1 cost?
LIFE1 1.0 is free to download and use. There are no in-app purchases, tokens or subscriptions in this version.
Do I need an account?
No. "Try without an account" gives you the full app on your device. Creating an account lets you restore your workouts and weight history if you reinstall.

Privacy & Data

What data does LIFE1 read from Apple Health?
With your permission: activity, workouts, heart rate, HRV, resting heart rate, sleep, steps, active energy and body measurements. LIFE1 writes workouts, water and weight back to Apple Health only when you log them.
Where is my data stored?
On your device first. Workouts, weights and your profile are backed up to LIFE1 servers hosted on AWS in the United States so they can be restored on a reinstall. Data is encrypted in transit. LIFE1 does not sell your data.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes. Settings has Export (a JSON file of your data) and Delete Account, which removes your account and server data. Deleting the app removes local data.
Is LIFE1 HIPAA compliant?
LIFE1 is a consumer wellness app, not a healthcare provider, so HIPAA does not apply to it. We follow PIPEDA and GDPR principles: minimal collection, no sale of data, and export or deletion on request. See the Privacy Policy.

Apple Watch & Devices

What does the Apple Watch app do?
Start and track workouts, run a Pump strength session with heart-rate-paced rest, log water and weight, check your Health Score and fasting ring, complete a readiness check-in, and breathe with haptic pacing. Complications show your score, water and fasting on the watch face.
Which wearables are supported?
Apple Watch directly. Any other device that writes to Apple Health, such as Oura, Garmin, Whoop or Fitbit, flows into LIFE1 through Apple Health. There is no separate device pairing in the app.
Does LIFE1 work with Instacart?
Yes. From a recipe or your meal plan, "Shop this meal" opens a ready-made Instacart shopping list.
